Morning Musings
Recently my husband and I did some serious spring cleaning in preparation to hire a cleaning service. Yes, we're those people (by the way, if you're in the market, Saya Hillman is INCREDIBLE!).
As we cleaned our closets, our drawers, the bookshelf and the pantry, it got me thinking ... what else can I purge from my life? So I started a digital detox and deleted unnecessary downloads from my laptop and my phone.
Clearly I was on a cleaning spree!
Then I thought to myself, my closet isn't the only thing that needs cleansing. Spring is a time of growth and rebirth.
I need to purge the toxic friendships, energy vampires and negative vibes from my life as well. Because let's be real ...

So I encourage you, as we start a new season, let go of all that negativity you've been carrying around and start fresh. Cleanse your soul. Protect your peace. Guard your energy.
Love,
L'Oreal

Throughout the course of my 10-year journalism career, I’ve interviewed my fair share of celebrities and politicians. But none of those conversations intimidated me as much as interviewing my own mom. Learn more about what she had to say in my latest for HelloGiggles.

My Latest Obsession

As a member of the BeyHive, I've known about Chloe x Halle since Queen Bey signed the R&B duo back in 2013. Fast forward to present day and these soulful sisters are definitely grown-ish (sorry, I couldn't resist!). Admittedly, I wasn't sure what to expect from their debut album, The Kids Are Alright. But the vocals and harmonies are on point. This one will definitely be in my rotation for some time.
