Morning Musings
Toward the end of last month, I proclaimed that I was getting my ENTIRE life together in September. On Sunday, I started a six-week nutrition program with my favorite online fitness coach, @GetFitWithMassi.
Last night, I joined the gym across the street from my office AND attended my first cycling class there. Admittedly, I've been off my fitness game all summer, but I'm coming back with a vengeance.Â
And today, I have a first date with a new therapist. I'm excited and a little anxious (what should I wear? I want to *look* like I have my shit together knowing good and well I don't).

Then later this month I'm booking it to the mountains of Georgia to commune with fellow WOC at Octavia Raheem's annual yoga retreat. It's my birthday gift to myself, because I deserve it, dammit.
Talk about mental, physical and spiritual health. These are my primary goals for September. There's just something about a new season that sparks a renewed sense of getting shit done.Â
Maybe it's all the back-to-school vibes in the air. Maybe it's Beyoncé's birthday. Maybe it's just being sick and tired of being sick and tired and finally doing something about it.
What are you claiming this month?
Love,
