Morning Musings
After a lengthy email chain, running Google Doc list and one fateful meeting with my agent and editor, we've finally landed on a new book title! You might recall that I learned this summer that the I've had for years was under copyright by a major global brand. Le sigh.
I've always been careful to say "working title" when describing the book on podcasts, etc. because I know enough about publishing that these sort of things are subject to change. But nevertheless, I persisted. Introducing the new title (for real this time)...
**drumroll, please**
Stop Waiting for Perfect: Step Out of Your Comfort Zone and Into Your Power
Also, we're about a year-ish from my August 15, 2023 publication date! Which means this time next year, you'll have pre-ordered your copy and can count down the days until it's in a mailbox or bookstore near you. EEEKKK!
As a result, ya girl needs to press pause for the coming month while I crank out this first set of revisions. Think of it as a summer sabbatical. One day I'll be organized enough to have a roster of (paid!) guest writers to take over when I need to take a newsletter break, but today is not that day.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer, eat a lot of ice cream and (safely) soak up the sun...ya know, when it's not a bajillion degrees outside. See y'all in September!
