There’s something so quietly radical about choosing not to shrink—physically, emotionally, spiritually. Taking up space doesn’t always mean speaking louder or standing taller. Sometimes it’s checking the bag, packing the extra swimsuit, and refusing to apologize for your presence or your needs. This was such a freeing read—thank you for the reminder.
I love a good old navy shopping spree (and have a very similar picture of myself from a dressing room in that same dress, lol)! I also used to be team carry-on but it has felt like SUCH a luxury to not stress about packing decisions as much when I can simply pack a few more options. Taking up space AND spacing out my decision-fatigue 💚
YASSS! I love that for us. Also, twinsies!! I love these dresses (and have it in three different colors) because I don't have to wear a bra & they make the girls look GREAT!!
Loved this! And I gotta say, I’m currently wearing crew socks over leggings inspired by YOU showing the way at the Belong retreat. Millennials can embrace (eventual) change! 😅
Yess love this reminder to take up space. I was recently convinced to check a bag for the first time in decades as well, what made my anxiety better (what if they lose it?? blah blah) about was making sure my toiletries and one outfit change were in my plane carryon. Now I'm an almost convert because it was so easy
Gurl yea! I like to not have carry on's ever! 🧳That said, I am loathe to pay for checking a bag also...although I bet you got me beat on that. 😊 You go on and take up space, in all the ways!
Excited to practice womanspreading this week!! Thank you queen!! 🥹❤️ I wanna see every fit on this trip!
Ask and you shall receive! Every fit coming soon to my IG (@LTintheCity) 🥰

Right?! I just wish I'd seen the light BEFORE Southwest decided to change their bag policy. Ughhh 🙄

What a great edition!
Aww thank you, it was a lot of fun to write! Been experimenting with some different formats, etc., so great to know it's resonating 💜
