I am so excited to try this activity. My 7 year old niece balked at me when I told her on Sunday that I had to put my mask on first to help her put on hers, but I know that she will get it when she's older.
I cannot endorse this written list idea enough. I think as working moms it's so hard to do anything other than "life stuff" (laundry, email, etc.) or mindless scrolling when we catch ourselves with a few extra minutes — having this written list is such a helpful reminder of the activities that will actually restore us. Laundry can wait! Thank you for the great suggestion <3
I often take a short walk around my block when I need some time for myself. And reading is my favorite thing to do for myself. 💜

Yes, the laundry can wait! (I say as we have two weeks’ worth of laundry piled up on our dining room table 😂)
